100mm field gun M1944 (BS3) (15mm)

I received my model of the Soviet M1944 100mm antitank gun as a replacement for SVD's wimpy and weak model of the 85mm antitank gun. I was a bit concerned with the amount of clean-up required to bring the model on line, especially the bottom of the barrel. Nothing I did seemed to work; sandpaper, files, diamond files, armorer's files. Nothing seem to cut this stuff quickly and cleanly. However, perseverance prevailed and I finally got the gun looking pretty good...just don't look at the bottom of the barrel too closely. I think this model should have been printed in several parts, or in a different direction to prevent the barrel distortion problem, but all-in-all a good model and a welcome additionSteve Burton (17 Mar 2019, 23:40)
