Gaz AA Truck Review
Have been quite impressed by both the price and the quality of these 3D models. If one needs a lot of basic Red Army trucks (I'm reviewing the 1/72 scale model) this is a very useful model. You will need a small set of pliers, (I found that pliers with a narrow head and preferably curved work best) a file and a sharp craft knife to remove the moulding and bits of flash. Possession of a small hand held vacuum cleaner also helps remove the debris created in this process. While the received model looks bizzarre with all the surrounding mouldings this is easily removed. If not sure click on the link to a video showing how this is done on the main homepage. Once the truck model is clear of the sourrounding mould I founf the running board and the tyres needed a bit of work with file and craft knife. The model painted up well and I've now got a number with various loads (boxes oil drums jerry cans etc.) I've added shq miniatures quad maxim AAA guns to two of them and they look fine. Most importantly they fit in very well with the rest of my my plastic and metal kits. So they need a bit of preparation but worth the effort. Robert Neill Watt (28 Sep 2019, 08:28)
